SOUTH AFRICA– FAILED LAND OF COMMUNIST ANC ORGANIZED CRIME ,LIBFARTS, UNION CHAOS , MISDIRECTED RAINBOW MONKEYS – AND WHITE GENOCIDE

THE  only cargo besides personal belongings of the five passengers and six crew members aboard the Air Force Dakota, who undertook a flight of death  into the side of  the Drakensberg on December 5, 2012, – were three boxes of medicine destined for Mthatha in the Eastern Cape to deliver medicine to a sick Nelson Mandela.

The South African Defense Force earlier denied that there was pressure on the crew to undertake the flight in bad weather to deliver medicine to former president Nelson Mandela who was sick in Qunu. The crew had probably taken the shortest flight route across the Drakensberg on that day because they tried to complete the flight back within the prescribed hours (eight to nine hours) for crew.

These data are apparent from the air force of inquiry’s report, which, after a battle of two years, has been obtained by Law on  Access to Information (Paia). Calculation errors by the crew and the air traffic controller on duty placed the disaster plane at a low height of 3 050 m, which is much lower than the peaks of Giant’s Castle: 4 085 m. The plane flew into the mountain at full speed and all aboard were killed instanly. The report was only made available after it first had to be classified by Defense Information (formerly Military Information).

However, the date stamps on the report indicate that the report was declassified in 2014. The report was not made available to the next of kin of the deceased. All they received from the army is a letter asking them “to accept the inevitable” All names and certain medical details are hidden in the classified report. It denies the families’ chance of setting claims or class actions against the air force. Such claims are deemed nil and void three years after an accident. A clinical psychologist said in the report there was evidence in the evidence before the inquiry board that there was pressure from the air force command to do tasks at the expense of aviation safety. “Unsafe action has become the acceptable standard. . . Just to do the job, “says the psychologist’s report.

A CREW MEMBER REFUSED TO FLY DUE TO   THE INCOMPETENCY  OF A COMPASS. A CERTAIN  GENERAL SAID THAT HE DO NOT NEED A COMPASS BUT TO  ‘FOLLOW ONLY THE N1 TO BLOEMFONTEIN. The squadron concerned was frustrated because they could not get enough training because no other aircraft was serviceable, evidence pointed out. . The C-47 Dakota is supposed to be used for maritime patrols only, but has been used for “quick” flights and passenger flights due to aircraft shortages. Shortly before the accident, a general had “ betted “the same flight crew a box of   greenhouse whiskey that they would not be able to complete a flight from Cape Town to Waterkloof due to bad weather.

Once a crew member refused  to fly to Bloemfontein on board  Dakota due to the unserviceability of a compass,- a general said he did not need a compass: “Just follow the N1 Bloemfontein!” During 2010’s World Cup tournament, a pilot informed the General that one particular Dakota could not fly for six to seven hours due to constraints. “You f**cken lie!” -the general apparently shouted. In another incident, the Dakota was banned from flying due to dirty fuel, but the crew was forced to fly 76 passengers Hoedspruit. The general – as expected- denied that there was ever pressure on the crew to fly.

The army has paid only R114 000 compensation for for each of the twins of deceased captain  Zack Smith for damages. It will only be available when they reach 21 years of age. Jackie Smith and her husband, Malcolm, from Mossel Bay, still struggle to find resignation after their son’s death. He was the commander together with  with Maj. Kurt Misrole as co-pilot. “Zack has made so many sacrifices for the air force. He was always more than ready to help if a flight had to happen, even though he was tired. Our grandchildren were babies when they lost their father. However, they miss him. Then their mother says, Dad stays in heaven with Jesus. His boy wanted to know why they could not rent a plane to visit his father in heaven. They are struggling immensely – emotionally and financially. “Zack said before the  flight to a friend that day he did not look forward to the flight at all. Perhaps he had a feeling, “said Jackie. “And if, as a pilot, he was always so much needed for the air force, someone could have worked with us at least through the report’s findings, rather than just sending us a letter. We have nothing left and we have no choice but to go on. Eventually nothing will bring Zack back. “
